Cabbage Patch Kids BOY WILBER MITCH With Birth Certificate NIB

Introducing the dashing and handsome “WILBER MITCH”, a Cabbage Patch Kids (CPK) from 1983, and one of the very first dolls to come to market during the “Cabbage Patch Craze”. Wilber is a 1983 “Coleco” boy with wheat/beige hair and crystal blue eyes and is slightly harder to find than many other CPK’s. The head mold #1 and Coleco copyright notice “Original Appalachian Art Works Inc., Manufactured by Coleco Ind. Inc.,” are stamped on his neck and the authenticating Xavier undated (black) “birthmark” signature is on his left buttock. He is in near mint condition and has been removed from the original box to take photographs only. Wilber’s body tag shows she was manufactured in the (P) factory. His original wrist tag is included and is in excellent shape but is no longer attached to his arm due to the age of the attaching rubber band. Wilber Mitch comes dressed in his original CPK outfit, denim overall shorts with a gingham pattern, yellow and white checkered shirt. His overalls included include the Cabbage Patch Kids logo, with ©1983 Original Appalachian Artworks, Inc. He has a red cap that is clean and completely unfaded, white socks and lace tied blue strip shoes. He is wearing his original diaper. Wilber’s clothes show no sign of wear and are in beautiful condition because he has not been handled through the years. He comes in the original CPK box which has the Coleco proof of purchase number 3900 stamped on the box. The packaging is all original and shows small signs of wear but is still in good condition for the vintage. Some small tears in the box have been taped to prevent damage from spreading. Wilber Mitch’s original Birth Certificate and Adoption Papers are included inside the box and have never been opened! The paper has a slight patina/fading which you would expect due to the vintage of this doll. He comes from a smoke free home and has been well cared for but her owner is of advanced age and it’s time to let Caroline Leah find a new loving home.
