Features: - internal frame (bars are removable) - internal water bladder holder pouch - detachable top pouch becomes waist pack - detachable backpack/hydration pack - zipper between lower and upper large compartments in case you want to carry longer gear - external straps for a sleeping pad or bag I purchased this new 20 years ago and it’s still in pretty good shape. It’s been stored in a tub when not in use. All the zippers, straps, and clips work. It’s a great starter bag if you’re not able to fork out big dollars or just aren’t sure if you will even like backpacking. I’d guess it’s at least 40L but I’m not sure This pack has been to Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and I most recently did the first southern 41 miles of the PCT. I’m only selling because I’m switching to a larger ultralight setup for longer through-hiking.
