Vintage 30s galvanized wash barrel w/ wooden handles

This was my Great Grandmother's, made for washing clothes, yes, with a washboard. With 13 kids- there was a few things to wash:) Made of galvanized metal this round bucket has a wider top which graduates from a smaller base. The metal has some light patina but no rusting thru or ruin - it was used, then hung up to dry There are wood handles painted w/ a quiant fade. The metal connection is really the only thing that shows age - but they're strong. On the outer theres a doubled raised line at the top & bottom along with faded blue stripe as well. The inside shows a bullseye pattern which served as a means of base grip when the bucket is set down. Also, if you look on the inside you can see the raised letters [all capitals] GOVER which are oddly unseen from the outside - maybe its made of a recycled item....if you know, please fill me in The bucket measures: top diameter 21 1/2" base diameter 19" depth 10 1/2 deep I dont prefer to fill this w/a measuring cup to tell you what the volume is but using some highschool math Im sure you can figure that out I know that Pottery Barn or those types of places sell items like this, but this is original & has had a well cared for life. It holds water and is without dings, ruin or damage. All angles have been accounted for in the photos. Use it as you please, my brother borrowed it for his wedding to collect cards from guests. I hope it's appreciated as we've loved it.
