Are you an endurance athlete longing for the days of a durable, reliable GPS-enabled watch that doesn’t give you email/news/social media alerts on the trail? This Ambit3 Peak has substantial battery life and is still in great condition. I haven’t measured, but reviews state that it will run for 20, 30, or 200 hours when the GPS ping interval is set to 1, 5, or 60 seconds, respectively—which is about right based on my experience. I used it for several single-day ultras and a week-long stage race several years ago and it’s been sitting in a drawer since I moved to an Apple Watch (and stopped running absurdly long distances with regularity.) It’s a tad heavy/bulky by today’s standards, but still a great Suunto that I’d love to see go to an owner who will appreciate it as much as I did. This was my second Suunto and likely not my last.
