This furnace uses heating oil/diesel to heat water and pump it to radiators in the house. A very quiet and efficient way to heat the home. This boiler was used sparingly because we have a woodstove with access to firewood which was our primary heating source. The G115/3 has the ability to automatically adjust boiler heat to meet temperature demand using a reset control, both increasing efficiency and dramatically increasing the life of the boiler. An insulating enclosure and patented flexible cast iron rounds out a boiler package that is extremely durable. Cost for a new Buderus Logano G115/3 is $1650. Asking $200. This Buderus Furnace comes with the Beckett Model AFG stainless steel oil burner that is sold separately from a new Buderus Logano but is included with this unit. The stainless steel burner has the capability to pre-mix fuel and oxygenated air before combustion, resulting in a cleanly burning flame that emits remarkably low emissions.
