Description

Antique ladies writing/ secretary desk in mahogany with maple inlay. Dowel construction, and dovetailed drawers. No key at this moment but a trip to hippo hardware is in order, and it’s relatively inexpensive to replace an old skeleton key. I restored this piece, which came to me in rather rough shape. The finish has been matched to the original, and it’s ready to last another 100+ years. I’m a historic restorationist by trade. This piece was just an interesting challenge, given how it came to me. Unfortunately, I just don’t have the space to keep it. A lovely and unique piece that I was happy to be able to save!
