Once your little one is ready to say "bye-bye" to their crib, simply add the included toddler rail to easily have the crib convert to toddler bed mode. The convertible crib then has one final metamorphosis as a day bed with the mattress height in the lowest position once the toddler rail is removed. The Monarch Hill Hawken Metal 3 n 1 Convertible Crib fits a standard-size crib mattress, and for further peace of mind, it also meets or exceeds the CPSIA Juvenile testing requirements to ensure your child's safety. Note from Seller: This crib is new and still in the original box with all hardware and assembly instructions. When original bought, I received this unit with one part slightly damaged (See last 2 photos). When I requested a replacement part, Wayfair sent and entire new crib. Selling this product at discounted cost. The only part not in the original box is the slightly damaged side piece. Damage is not very visible and easily repairable ( I expect the use of a rubber mallet and some touch up paint will make this good as new). Easily assembled, took me less than 30 mins.
