(Lot Of 2) 1945 Scott #930 Roosevelt Hyde Park Blue-green 1-cent Stamp Post Marked Canceled. The 1945 1-cent "Roosevelt and Hyde Park" stamp, also known as the U.S. #930 was issued on July 26, 1945, as a memorial to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who died in April 1945. It is part of a series of four memorial stamps. The stamp features a portrait of Roosevelt and his Hyde Park, NY home. 128,140,000 of these stamps were printed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. The stamp is blue-green in color and has perforations of 11 x 10.5. It remains valid for postage today. The 1-cent Roosevelt and Hyde Park postage stamp was issued in 1945 by the United States Postal Service as part of a series of stamps commemorating Franklin D. Roosevelt after his death on April 12, 1945. The stamp features a portrait of Roosevelt and his home in Hyde Park, NY.
