Cremona SB 3 Upright Bass

Please read the whole ad before replying. This is a Cremona upright bass and it is their top of the line student model. It's a beautiful bass with a full rich sound. It is complete and I have enjoyed playing it. I'm selling it for half of standard used price because I think it needs professional help. The neck had a severe break and was put back together using a bolt. It's actually an ingenious fix, and the bolt doesn't interfere with playing at all and it holds tuning. The last inch of the bolt or so seems to be stripped. In other words I'm a little worried it could slip. The nut that is currently on it is not a locking nut. Also there is no glue between the neck and body so when you loosen the bolt the gap is obvious. That makes it easier to add glue and add stability, but it's not there right now. There is also some sticker residue in various places. I'm raising money for building supplies and I've decided to sell all my instruments that need help. That's why I'm putting this on the chopping block so to speak. The best place for me to meet is along I-5 between Cook Road and Mount Vernon, but I do come to Seattle and Bellingham from time to time.
