Made in Spain Vintage Paulino Bernabe Flamenco Guitar

Paulino Bernabe Estudio Model Classical Guitar (1980s, exact year unknown), made in Madrid, Spain. This vintage guitar is in excellent condition, especially considering it's 40 years old. There's a very tiny superficial ding (see photo), but otherwise in fantastic shape. No cracks. Top: spruce Back/Sides: cypress Neck: mahogany Fretboard: ebony Strings: nylon Scale: 660 mm 12th fret 6th E: 2.5 mm Bridge string height: 9 mm Nut: 52 mm Bridge string space: 56 mm Comes with a black hardshell TKL case. Paulino Bernabe is considered to be among the elite of late 20th century classical guitar makers; His guitars are of very fine quality and are noted for their powerful, clear and sustaining sound. This "Estudio' model was crafted in Spain. It carries the same characteristics as the hand-made and signed Paulino Bernabe guitars; all instruments sold with his labels had to meet his standards, were made under his supervision and follow his designs. Playability is excellent and this is a lovely sounding and fine playing instrument, both responsive to a lighter touch and with very good projection. I just put on new strings. It has the look and feel of some classic vintage flamenco guitars from the 50s/60s/70s like Conde, Jose Ramirez, and Miguel Rodriguez, like what Leonard Cohen played in his early days. All in all, a rare and beautiful find and an absolute joy to play! Price is firm. I actually just bought this as a Christmas present for myself (and love it!), but then my car died and I had to buy a new one, so unfortunately for me, I need to sell my two nicest guitars to offset some of the cost.
