Optonica RP-4705 direct drive turntable (rare)

I have a OPTONICA Rp-4705 direct drive turntable. Tested and fully functional. Optonica was sharp attempt at competing with the high end stereo components market. Well built and features many of the functions of top of the line turntables of its era, fully automatic with repeat function and separate motor control for the tone arm. This unit can play 33 1/3 and 45 rpm records. The design is somewhat unique with a glass dust cover and recessed platter and tone arm within the plinth. I regressed all the gears, readjusted the speed on the actual motor, and used deoxit on all buttons and potentiometers. Don’t miss out on this great turntable.
