Description

This has been a project that has been eluding me for a few years now. As I recently came into a newer home espresso machine I’m no longer able to keep this one around. Simple little heat exchanger that runs on 110v meaning you could use it at home. It is a plumb in model, so if you don’t have a way to hook it up to a water source you’ll need a Flojet or comparable system. The pros: - it works! Vibratory pump, heating element, steam and hot water valves all do their job. - recently rebuilt the vacuum breaker as it was leaky - grouphead block and screen, portafilter, basket and spring all included - original frame screws included - braided stainless steel line included - CPU, pressure stat, and solenoids all seem to be in good working condition The cons: - missing drip tray and top panel - pump works, but likely will need a replacement in the next few years (runs about $50, can buy from Clive Coffee) - steam and hot water valves operational, but could use a rebuild and/or lubrication - pretty rusty as the previous owner had it stored in their basement. Will likely need a sanding and fresh coat of paint if planning on refurbishing. (Last photo from Google, for reference)
