2003 BMW 525i

Clean, semi-rare BMW E39 station wagon with low miles. It’s a daily driver that is usually very reliable, yet it was recently having an issue that I was having a hard time diagnosing: Once in a while, when you started the car it would idle rough- I believe this was due to a misfire. The problem was intermittent. When it showed itself, it would occasionally enter engine failsafe mode…turning the car off and back on again would typically make it go away. We replaced the battery about three weeks ago and it has not had these issues since. Still, thought I would mention this and be transparent. The interior is black and very clean. The leather seats show little use. The exterior is pretty clean as well but it’s not pristine-there are some minor nicks, dings, and scratches. Still, it’s pretty nice for its age. Paint has no fade currently. The car has always been well maintained and regularly serviced. Always have used quality oem European replacement parts. We are the third owners (previous owner was my dad). Some parts/services worth mentioning: -New rear hatch and rear window struts -new MAF sensor -rebuilt ABS module by qualified company -new thermostat -new thermostat sensor -new plugs -new air filters -pirelli tires still have a lot of life -had liqui moly cera tec service done recently And oil change If you’re interested, I can fill u in more on the car.
