9x12 Area Rug

This is a 9 x 12 Safa via wool rug. It’s absolutely beautiful and I love it, but my dog peed on it. I’ve cleaned it thoroughly with natures miracle and a rug cleaner machine and to me it still has a very faint smell. Other people that have come in the room say they don’t smell it, but I’m afraid that my dog is just gonna keep peeing on it because SHE can smell it lol. It’s originally an $800 rug, but I can’t keep it. If I had an outdoor space I could use it like on a screen porch with air circulating, but my screen porch isn’t big enough. I just cant stomach throwing it away because I think someone could use it!
