Custom King Headboard – 100+ Year Old Oklahoma Farmhouse Door

One-of-a-kind custom king-size headboard handcrafted from an antique solid-wood farmhouse door sourced from an old farmhouse in Oklahoma. The artisan who created the piece dated the original door at more than 100 years old. The original aged wood, layers of distressed paint and beautiful natural grain were preserved, along with the door’s original locking hardware. Finished with substantial crown molding and built into a freestanding headboard that attaches to a standard metal bed frame. This is a true architectural-salvage piece rather than a reproduction or manufactured “farmhouse style” headboard. Every mark, variation and area of wear is part of the character and history of the original door.
