Selling our beloved 2003 chevy astro. We put a TON of work into this, but it is sadly time part ways. Hoping it'll find a good home and show it a good time, as it has a ton of life left. Van basics: Runs and drives great. 111,500 miles New ish toyo at3 tires. Full size spare (toyo at3) Back up/dash cam Intergraded into rear view mirror. Black wheels New stereo, speakers, and mini sub w amp under seat. Bug deflector New headlights. Ac blows frigid. New windshield. New battery. The build out (in brief) Fully insulated . Maxx air fan Heavy duty flooring, easy to clean. "Heavy duty" custom mat in front (driver-passenger) Pull out bed just shy of being a full size mattress, with storage underneath. ‐completely removable if needed to switch the van into cargo mode. 12v plug in behind drivers side. (Plug in Maxx fan here or use an external power source) Battery operated dom lights Shelf/deep trunk storage on passenger side. Has a "hidden" compartment to stash tools, tire jack and other things Storage in rear doors, w food down tables Insulated privacy window coverings Privacy curtain (separates front seats and cargo area) Exterior door table ( photos) The mechanical: very well maintained. Recently replaced motor mounts All new suspension New spark plugs/wire set. New control arms New power steering pump, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, transmission pan gasket, New full pump. All new door actuators It is rwd, however, that has not limited us in where we went. Did great in all off road conditions including snow and mud. Just need to know how to drive it. Sure it won't rock climb moab, but neither will the awd version. ..... The bad. It's an old chevy. So there's some small quirks. Nothing major at all. Hood latch can get stuck sometimes, just takes some patience sometimes. Latch can be replaced for pretty cheap. ($50) Blower motor (ac/heater), does not blow on high (the rest work fine) just need replace the fuse. Another cheap easy fix. The gauge clusters, when car is turned off after 10 seconds all the gauges jump. Draws little to no power. Unplugged the battery for a day, and it still does it. No one knows what it is, but it's no big deal. Rear cargo door stops don't like to stop the doors so much. So be gentle opening. Also included:L Og owners manual Rear cargo door seals replaced. Have spare set i can include. ($350 value) Tire chains . Custom mattress and bed strap (keeps everything locked in place) Fire extinguisher. Spare door lock actuator. Spare keys. Club included. Security boot included. Seat "cubby" totes. Magnetic Billy club. Magnets (super useful) Some kitchen things in the hidden door storage. Why are we selling? I used this van very sparingly for work and play ( driven maybe 1-3 times a month, more in summer) . . I think the van deserves to get enjoyed, used, and taken out into the wild.. $13.5k obo
