The Keystone "Polar Package" is a weather-proofing feature designed for extended-season camping by providing insulation and heat to the RV's underbelly, tanks, and other vulnerable areas. Key components include a heated and enclosed underbelly, radiant barrier insulation, and furnace ducts directed over the holding tanks. This allows for camping in colder temperatures. Key components and features Heated and enclosed underbelly: The underside of the RV is sealed and enclosed to protect the tanks and plumbing from the elements. Insulation: Reflective thermopoil (radiant barrier) is applied to the roof, front cap, and underbelly, while batten insulation is used in the roof trusses and rear wall. Forced-air heat: The furnace is designed to blow hot air directly over the holding tanks to prevent freezing. Enclosed holding tanks: The package includes an enclosed and heated underbelly, designed to keep the holding tanks from freezing. 35,000 BTU furnace: A higher-output furnace provides more heat for the interior and the underbelly. Static attic vents: Two static attic vents help with air circulation and temperature regulation in the RV.
