Expandable Design. The Pro EXP, is the last dumbbell you’ll ever need. Designed for advanced weight lifters, the Pro EXP adjustable dumbbell is expandable up to 90 lbs. All dumbbells are adjustable in 2.5 lb to 5 lb weight increments with a pair of included adder weights, perfect for building strength while maintaining good form or micro loading. The Pro EXP adjustable dumbbell has a compact design to optimize your home gym’s space. PowerBlock’s goal has always been to create a dumbbell that reduces the space needed for a home gym. The patented design uses a nested weight stack to save space and a magnetic selector pin for changing weight quickly. The straightforward magnetic pin means fewer moving parts and less risk of an internal piece breaking. The Pro EXP, with all of the expansion stages, eliminates many traditional dumbbell pairs. Unlike the Elite USA 90 which uses welded steel weight plates, the Pro EXP uses black urethane plates. There are a few key differences between the two. The black urethane is slightly quieter and is less exposed to the elements. They are marginally larger than the steel because of the extra padding. For a seamless experience, the U-shaped pin allows for easy weight changes. Instead of loading more plates and screwing pins, simply slide the pin into the desired weight and go. The handle itself weighs 5 lbs, add more with included chrome adder weights. The chrome adder weights slide into the handle, adding 2.5 lbs each. Durable Build.
