Magic Trick: Vanishing Bottle Trick – Empty Coke

Effect: Show a cola bottle that is empty and a small paper bag. The magician places the bottle inside of the empty bag. Explain that you will vanish the bottle on the count of 3. The magician turns over the bag and nothing falls out! Now he turns over the bag and waves his hand and the bottle reappears. The magician now says he will do it again. The bag with the bottle is turned upside down and it doesn’t drop out again. Well now the audience starts to complain that you are just holding the bottle and it did not vanish. To which you now crumple the bag up and toss it away proving the bottle has really disappeared into oblivion. Trick requires no sleight of hand and can be done by a beginner. Your audience will wonder what happened to the bottle. You can also do a trick where you place an empty bottle inside the bag and at the end you pull out a full bottle or a can and the other one has vanished.
