Description

Selling a vintage (1980s) TransAudio 1800 turntable. It is in great condition - it just needs an anti-skate weight, which I lost when I recently moved. It has a new (about 4 month old) Shure cartridge/needle. TransAudio was a Pacific Stereo house brand for the Japanese market back in the '70s and '80s, so besides being a more than decent record player, this is a little piece of audio history, since the brand is now defunct and no longer in production. From what I can tell these are pretty hard to find these days. It works great, but I would recommend against playing it without getting an anti-skate weight (doing so might damage vinyl by letting the needle drift). Weights are cheap and can be found easily online or in store. I've had this turntable for a couple of years and have loved it - it just no longer fits on my new shelf. $150 obo!
