Hi all, im selling this used Saltwater Combo for fishing the boats. The rod is a 6.5 ft 1- piece honey fiberglass rod. No markings on it but most likely an older Calstar like a 665 blank judging by the honey glass color and bend. It has chrome boat guides, deckhand grip with cork tape. Has a fast action, would be a perfect to fish 25-30 lb test. Reel is a Penn 112 or 3/0 reel w aluminum spool. , which is basically a jigmaster, just different shape, same 4:1 gears. I just filled it to the brim with 380 yards of fresh Stren 30 lb mono. Great drags and excellent freespool. Both are used but work perfectly. A good all around saltwater combo for fishing the local boats for bonito, barracuda, bass, yellowtail, dorado, schoolie sized tuna. This will handle all those species no problem and can also be used for fishing the bottom for stuff like rockfish, lingcod, and halibut. Pickup in South Pas or Alhambra only, no shipping. Cash only.
