Description

Genuine Harley-Davidson “Fat Bob” tank dash assembly with Stewart-Warner speedometer. Complete three-piece unit: speedometer head, chrome dash cover, and dash base with ignition switch. The speedometer face carries the number 411905 — the documented Stewart-Warner factory face number for the 1947 mph speedometer Complete assembly includes: • Chrome tank dash housing — original finish, natural patina, no cracks or breaks • Original 0-120 MPH Harley-Davidson speedometer, glass intact, • GEN/OIL two-light warning indicator panel • Ignition switch with original key barrel • Original wiring harness remnants present • Rear mounting plate and hardware Condition: Sold as-is, unrestored, in the condition shown. This is an original survivor piece, not a restoration. Chrome shows age-appropriate oxidation and patina consistent with storage. Speedometer glass intact. All components present and accounted for — sold as a complete assembly. Mechanical function of speedometer not tested. Speedometer number 411905 will require professional speedometer rebuild/remounting, which is standard practice for restoration. Sold in as is condition, no returns. Compatibility: The 1947 speedometer was fitted to 1947 EL and FL 61” and 74” OHV Knucklehead models — the final Knucklehead production year. Related components were shared across U/UL flathead, WL 45”, and Servi-Car models of the period. The two-light dash cover style was used on Big Twins from 1947 through 1961, so the cover itself suits early Panhead restorations as well. Please confirm fitment against your specific model and year before purchasing.
