Hands down the best battery shop I have ever been to. I was referred to Affordable Auto Batteries on West Park by a friend and I am so glad I listened. The staff was friendly, professional, and really cared about making sure I got the right battery for my car. Their prices were better than anywhere else I called, and they installed the new battery quickly and without any hassle. The staff is amazing and so helpful. Tomas installed my battery, cleaned my terminals , and checked my alternator. You cant beat the prices here. Alina was so kind, offered cold water and explained my warranty options. I recommend everyone to come here !! Very honest people 10/10

From the moment you walk in, you are treated like a patron at at 5 star restaurant.  The service is simply the best. The young lady that works the front desk is so kind, attentive to your needs, and patient, kind, and respectful. Her boss is so good at what he does and you can tell he is really into what he does for a living. To put it plainly...you need someone that is knowledgeable on the product he sales this man knows what he is doing. To the young man who removed the battery from my trunk as soon as I popped the release from inside the car, no one told him to remove it from the truck, he just knew what to do. And did it with gratefulness that I was shopping at their place of business. The level of service you receive here is just not seen at places of business any more. To all husband's and father's out there, if you are out if town and your wife or kids needs a SAFE PROFESSIONAL place to go and get a battery picked up or installed, this without any reaerverations, is the place to send your wife or kids.

Quality  : I read the negative post on here against this company. I get it. What you need to realize is this business IS NOT selling NAME BRAND batteries. They in no way try to hide that fact. One must realize going in that a) you are not buying a name brand battery and  b) you are purchasing a second tier manufactured battery ( not rebuilt ).

They also sale rebuilt / reconditioned batteries as well.

It is your choice on what you purchase.

For the tight budgeted family, this business will work with you.

For the fleet manager on semi trucks, this is the place to go.

I have moved all of our semi fleet battery purchases to this company.

Why do this? Because this shop makes purchasing care free. You call, give them the details, DONE! As simple as that. And you can trust them.

Can't get your car to them? Call them, tell them what you have, pay for the battery, and thy can help arrange UBER delivery to deliver the battery to your home or business within an hour of you calling. Think about that. You go out, your battery is bad, you call them, use uber delivery, you have a new battery at your house within the hour. Who does that? Now that is service. It has an additional delivery cost, but man, you get to stay in your house while the battery is in route to you. While in route, you remove the old battery and by time you remove it, the new battery is arriving at your door. Talk about taking a load of pressure off your mind. After work, you take the core back and get your core fee back.

No, to the negative commenters...Just call them and be cool and talk to them. Don't yell, scream, or threaten. They will listen, they will help, they will come up with a solution to your issue. Also, if their policy is paper receipt required for exchange or warranty, then produce a paper receipt. When you purchase the new battery, place the paper receipt in the glove compartment. This is a small company and they don't have big mega servers running in the back ground like the major auto parts companies that can look up past purchases. I know, I know. But I took a photo of it. Do you know how many people "CAN USE " that same photo to try and do warranty claimed across many different batteries that are not directly related to the actual battery that was purchased? No, id their policy is paper receipt required, then that is their policy.

In summary, purchase with confidence from this company.

Best service in Houston, they have quality batteries at affordable prices. I got a refurbished battery with three months warranty. The staff were kind and helpful.
