On Friday, 6/21/2025, I went in to Volkswagen of Puyallup to test drive an ID.4 as I’ve wanted to electrify for a while now. I had been in contact with Navy over text who was a true delight and very helpful, and when I first walked in I was immediately greeted by Oscar and Nevin. Nevin helped me find the car to test drive (the original one I was looking at wasn’t ready with all of the inspections and such but he helped me find a very similar one at the price I was seeking.) He was incredibly helpful during the test drive going through all of my questions, was honest when he wasn’t sure of an answer (instead of just spouting some BS like some salespeople have done to me in the past… I always ask a couple questions I know the answer to ahead of time to double check.) They needed to complete one recall on the car before I could drive it away, were very transparent about it and had the car finished quicker than they told me they would.
They were very fair in valuing my trade in and on giving me the price for the car I wanted, I didn’t feel swindled or like they were trying to screw me over at all.
When I was working with Laura (I hope that was her name, she was a true delight) with the financing, we had a fun banter going and she was helpful showing me the prices of different packages I could add. I told her what I wanted and the max per month I would pay, and she called the lender right in front of me and asked them if they could shave the interest rate down for me and actually got me a lower payment than I was hoping for.

Overall I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend working with the team over at Volkswagen of Puyallup!

Excellent experience from start to finish!
I was overwhelmed by the car shopping process but the staff at Harnish Auto Family provided a truly stress free experience! From the informative introductory communication with Navy Duong to the exceptional patience and superb knowledge from Nick Montgomery, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. In addition to the impressive service, the vehicle quality and prices are unmatched. I highly recommend anyone car shopping to check out this dealership and definitely ask for Nick!

Ode to Shawn, the Volkswagen Virtuoso

I came for a car, just hoping to look,
But Shawn swooped in like a hero from a book.
His smile was brighter than the headlights’ glow,
And his sales pitch smoother than a late-night show.

He spoke of German engineering with pride,
As if each Jetta and Atlas was his favorite ride.
He sold me on features, on style, on flair,
I half expected confetti to shoot through the air.

Now I cruise in my Volkswagen, sleek and refined,
But it’s Shawn’s shining spirit still stuck in my mind.
So let’s give him applause, as loud as we can— For Shawn is no salesman… he’s a Volkswagen man!

I want to start out by saying that I typically dread going to car dealerships because of stereotypical pushy and pressure based sales tactics pushed by salesmen and their managers. I have worked at car dealerships in the past, so I’m aware of all of the gimmicks and tactics. With that being said, this dealership is the complete opposite of a stereotypical car dealership.

We stopped in a few weeks ago while shopping around for a new vehicle for my wife. We wanted to look at a brand new Tiguan. We told Nevin exactly what we were looking for and Nevin assisted us with looking at a new Tiguan. Nevin was amazing! He was super knowledgeable about the product, and helped to provide one of the most enjoyable car buying experiences I have ever had at a car dealership. If I could give home more than 5 stars, I would. My purchase experience at VW of Puyallup was no pressure, no haggle, and overall enjoyable. No second stickers to put additional profit into the dealers pocket, and I feel that I bought our new vehicle at a very fair price. Jordan in finance did an amazing job at going over all of the fine print, as well as going into detail regarding the terms of our purchase.

Overall, I would say that our experience was way better than expected. Because of VW of Puyallup, I now have restored faith that there are still good honest car dealerships out there that can provide an enjoyable car buying experience. If the need to purchase a vehicle ever arises again, I will definitely check out VW of Puyallup, and anyone reading this review should do so too.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience this time. I was in the market for a Volkswagen Atlas and had the pleasure of working with Stephen. From the start, he was an absolute blessing—he listened to my situation, understood my needs, and went above and beyond to exceed my expectations.

Stephen found the perfect Atlas for me at a very fair price. He wasn’t pushy, but he was persistent in the best way possible, ensuring we didn’t miss out on the vehicle we wanted, especially since others were interested in the same one. He also helped us secure the best pricing plan available and worked with the finance team to get us an excellent deal at a great rate. My wife and I are beyond happy with our purchase!

Jordan in finance was equally amazing. He was patient, easy to work with, and took the time to clarify all the numbers when we had a bit of confusion. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and ensured we fully understood everything before finalizing the deal.

Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and I now see why this is the #1 Volkswagen dealership in the PNW. Thank you, Stephen and Jordan, for your hard work, patience, and for creating such a professional yet family-oriented atmosphere. We truly appreciate it!
