Description

Clearly defined, American Brilliant Period cut glass bowl is fine quality, hand-cut crystal produced from 1876 to roughly 1920. It is considered “crystal” because it comprised up to a 50% lead content (versus 24% for modern crystal), which accounts for its brilliance. A truly stunning centerpiece. Pictures do not do it justice. The rainbow refraction has to be seen to be believed. Beautiful Bowl with a Sawtooth Edge. It's 8" in diameter land 4" tall. This piece has different cuts: Hobstar, Fan, and Crosshatching. Preowned antique condition with expected flaws for it's age. There are tiny scratches on the bottom of the bowl and a couple of chips on the sawtooth. Please see pictures.
