Description

All wood for this board was milled from trees that were felled within 40 miles of our house. My partner hand picked the walnut and blue pine boards he fitted for this beautiful chess board. Built with a thin frame (only 5/8 of an inch thick!) this board is backed with and English elm veneer and has 1&3/4 inch squares for an overall board dimension of 15&1/2 inches including the frame which is held off of the main board with a small black epoxy channel. A high gloss multi coat veneer finishes and seals this board in ensuring it can hold up under consistent use for years to come. 15 1/2” board size w/ frame 1 3/4” squares 5/8” thick
