Vintage handcrafted African 6-string ngoni lute, approx. 22” tall. Features a gourd/hide resonator with carved wooden neck and two side arms. Traditional West African string instrument, ancestor of the modern banjo. Condition: Pre-owned, shows natural wear from handmade construction. Untested as a musical instrument but displays beautifully as tribal décor or collectible folk art.
