My lady (who is very mechanically inclined) spoke with Dave about a ram 3500 that she wanted to see. The ad stated the truck had a clean carfax and was original owner and it is a “super clean diesel hauler”. The truck looked immaculate from the photos. She confirmed the truck was available and let Dave know that we would make the 325 mile (one way) trip to come and pick up the truck if everything checked out.

Upon arrival before even parking, we could already see the shotty paint and bodywork on the truck we intended on buying. We walked over to the truck and found poor quality orange peel paint, bad body work, thick bondo, overspray on the wheels/tires and inner fenders. The transmission pan was soaked… Not even all of the masking tape was removed from the truck from when it was resprayed. (The truck clearly had been in an accident) and Dave’s response was “wow the carfax says no accidents / original owner… these repairs must have been done without insurance” like he didn’t know… as we continued to pick apart the truck (extremely frustrated) Dave stands up on the step and says “yeah somebody pointed out that it may have had some hail damage at some point” and pointed at the roof. Really !!?!? I understand your job is to sell trucks, but to allow us to spend 10hrs in the truck and 650miles (total) and be extremely misleading and deceptive with the photos / description really pisses me off. He thought he had this truck sold once he heard a young girl call in for it. Dirty dirty dirty. Half the trucks in the parking lot looked like they had some backyard mechanic (which they literally have) do spray paint repairs with Home Depot paint match.

Fast & easy for us.  Mostly done over the phone.  We knew EXACTLY what we wanted. They checked all the boxes while under market price.
Now our boat pulling needs are met and we belong to a new to us credit union.
David was so great with us, I wanna insert a picture.  Smiles all around.  : )

Good time at the dealer ship. Nothing wrong there. Nice salesman. Quick paper work. Just got a used truck with more problems then it should have had. Good overall experience with dealership. Only reason they are getting a low rating is they lied about the model of my truck. On paper work it says it's a Lt. Insurance paperwork and running the vin say it's a Ls which means I thought I was getting the higher model truck which booked for about what they had it listed. Turns out truck is worth about 3k less. Live and you learn from every experience and lesson.  Don't know to reply. So I'll update. I'll upload a picture ran from the insurance company from their check when I wrecked it dealing with poor parts.
