Description

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro convertible was refurbished and modified with a supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 and a Tremec Super Magnum six-speed manual transmission in 2024. The car rides on a Heidts front suspension with adjustable coilovers and rack-and-pinion steering as well as a four-link rear setup with a Currie Enterprises 9″ axle. The exterior is finished in blue and features a black soft top, a stinger-style hood, and RS-style hideaway headlights, and 18″ BC Forged multi-piece wheels are mounted over Wilwood disc brakes. The cabin is appointed with TMI Products black leather seats, a custom center console, Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital gauges, and a Hurst shifter. The body was repainted during the refurbishment, reportedly in the shade of LeMans Blue, and the rear wheel wells were tubbed to accommodate the larger wheel and tire package. Details include front and rear spoilers, a black convertible soft top, RS-style hideaway headlights, ZL1 badging, a body-color rear bumper, a black taillight panel, and a stinger-style hood with black accents. BC Forged multi-piece 18″ wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car rides on a Heidts Pro-G front subframe with adjustable coilovers and power rack-and-pinion steering along with a four-link rear setup, according to the selling dealer. Braking is handled by red Wilwood calipers over slotted and drilled rotors. TMI Products bolstered black leather seats were installed during the build along with a custom center console, padded dashboard, and door panels. Appointments consist of Vintage Air climate control and front cupholders. The padded TMI Products steering wheel sits on a tilting column ahead of a suite of Dakota Digital instrumentation, and matching auxiliary readouts are mounted ahead on the Hurst shifter in the center console. The five-digit odometer shows 470 miles, The supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 was installed as a crate motor in 2024, according to the selling dealer. It is equipped with a CVF accessory-drive setup, a BeCool radiator, electric fans, and a high-flow air intake.
