Description

This is for a wonderful Vintage French brass "peacock fan" fireplace screen. It looks lovely open and yet still very decorative when sitting closed. This lovely piece has an ornate design and is two sided with a Vintage style Cameo Face mounted on the front with a raised motif. The Finial/handle is missing at the top and one screen section is not attached to the others. Isn’t very noticeable and still functions fine. See pics. This folding screen can be closed and locked when not in use and or to store. The intricate detail of the filigree cut-out screen creates an amazing reflection and is very light catching. The fan is very heavy and sturdy with an Art Deco, Neoclassical, Hollywood Regency feel to the design. The total height with the handle is 27 inches tall and the fan when open has a width of 37.5 inches and the base is 4.5 inches deep. This one weighs 9.13 lbs. This item is sure to please and will be loved for many years to come. Priced to sell! Worth much more.
