Heisey Crystal Etched Grape Vine Motif w/Handle Dessert Round Platter 1930's. Lovely made with so much detail, in lovely condition with no chips or cracks, small hard to see utensil marks. The Heisey Trade mark is on the Handle with a Diamond shape & an H in the center. Approx: 11" x 5" Tall weighing 2 Pounds. A Bit of History: Heisey Crystal Glass was produced by the A.H. Heisey & Company in Newark, Ohio, between 1896 & 1957. Renowned for its exceptional clarity, weight & "diamond-brilliance," the glassware earned the nickname "Heisey's American Crystal". The company was a pioneer in using national magazine advertising & trademarking its glass with a distinctive diamond-shaped "H" logo. The vintage Heisey Crystal center handle platter with an etched Grape Vine motif, commonly used as a sandwich or dessert tray, was primarily produced during the 1930s.
