The edge of the top of the desk is hand carved along with the front and sides, with palmettes and floral carvings. The legs are beautifully turned in gadroon shape with additional carved details and there is a turned center support at the bottom. Carved pendants and scrollwork also appear on the front of this desk which has an arched opening at center to accommodate seating..
