We have several pieces not even listed. Let us know what you are looking for. Beautiful vintage walnut desk or vanity for American of Martinsville Dania collection by Merton Gershun. Features a white laminate top inset with a raised, beveled edge, a single drawer with compartments, tapered legs and the signature Dania elegant brass pull. This piece is in good vintage condition showing minimal wear with staining inside of the drawer and very slight discoloration on the front edge of the white laminate near the pull - see photos. Dimensions: 34W 18.5D 30H *Historical notes Meyer Mazor opened his furniture store at 911 7th Street, NW, in 1937. Eventually the business expanded to multiple Washington area locations and was still going strong in the 1970s. They catered to the embassies and hi end customers. A lot of their furniture was custom order. All of it was from the best mfgs. in the country, Grand Rapids, High Point, etc. The last of the Mazor Masterpieces furniture stores closed in the mid 1980s. The end of an era. Gershun, designed some of the earliest modern furniture lines available in the states and helped transition from traditional lighter woods to the richer dark woods that were popular throughout the mid-century. . Notably his most recognized line, Dania by American of Martinsville, was once the best-selling furniture line in the world. Merton Gershun died January 3rd, 1989. We deliver....just ask for a quote!
