Up for sale is my 2016 Gibson Les Paul Studio HP. Originally, it came with a Gibson Gig Bag, but I’ve upgraded it to a Gator Hard Shell Case. This guitar hasn’t been played much; I have other guitars and you can see in the photos that this is the case. All the components were personally installed by a guitar tech and was given a full fret dressing and polish along with a personal setup for 10-52 strings. The sound is amazing and versatile and there’s an amazing amount of sustain. Please read on for information that should quell your questions: FAQ • I am concerned about its authenticity. - All the documentation is included with the guitar, along with the invoice from zzounds (an authorized dealer for Gibson). Made in the USA at the Gibson factory this one is. • Is there anything wrong with it? - Nope, the guitar is in immaculate condition. • Can I test it prior to purchase? - Please do! Bring your travel amp, plug it in and try it out! Both of us should be happy after the transaction is concluded. I spent a lot of time and effort building out this guitar to what it is now and I’m proud of it. I want you to be happy with it as well. • Does it stay in tune? -As much as any properly setup guitar can; the locking tuners, graphite saddles and professional setup help immensely. • Is the neck straight? - The guitar rested in its case in E-Flat, and is 8 years old. The neck is straight with no warp and is going to stay that way if you don’t introduce catastrophic humidity and climate changes to the guitar. Guitars love their cases. There’s a ton of adjustability with the truss rod nut in both directions. It was moved very little over the years as it was stored properly. • Why are you selling it? - I have over 10 guitars and do not play this one much. BONUS ANSWER: money. • Didn’t these come with a metal case? - Mine came in a gig bag. You’ll have to take it up with Gibson as to why they did not include a metal case. • Are you the original owner? - Yes. • Are you firm on the price? - I’m a little flexible. If you’re looking at this guitar, you will see its prestige and worth and you will know how expensive these upgraded parts are.
