Myott Staffordshire-Olde Chelsea "Miniature Pattern" 6 Pc Dinner Place Setting Earthenware made in England 1950's I have a total of 5 full 6 Pc Place settings if interested! In good vintage condition with no chips or cracks, there is grazing on many of the items, this was done in the making & looks pretty cool :) A Bit of History: Myott Son & Co. primarily produced this line using earthenware The "Olde Chelsea" line was actively produced by the Alexander Potteries in Staffordshire England from the 1930s through the 1950s Authentic pieces from this era frequently exhibit "crazing" a network of fine cracks in the glaze which is an inherent characteristic of vintage earthenware produced during this time Myott Son & Co was established by Ashley Myott in 1898, working with his brother Sydney they started production at the Alexander Pottery in Stoke. 1925 they expanded their works to include a factory in Cobridge along with adjacent pottery & together became known as Alexander Potteries.
