Unprofessional misleading experience I personally had at this dealership. I searched vehicles at Fred Beans website filled in the interest form and received a text. The person text me from Fred Bean's which I thought was a sales consultant, made and confirmed via text an appt with the manager Ryan. We arrive and Ryan is off for the day and they assign a sales consutant to assist us. It took him 47 minutes to arrange for a test drive, another 20 minutes to assess our trade in car. I felt they were very disrespectful of our time and not prepared especially since we had an appt scheduled.  Turns out they use a Fred Bean's call center to make appts and provide answers to your online and text questions. It was the worst car dealership experience I personally have encountered. We were so frustrsted we left and purchased a car from another dealership.

I personally worked with Quentin Smiley as my salesperson from Fred Beans Mazda and can attest that he was very personable, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and made my whole experience a breeze! Everyone else I worked with throughout the process also made the overall transaction smooth, not as stressful and nearly perfect.
I had to purchase a "new to me" car very quickly due to my car being totaled in an accident so I needed a Dealership / Salesperson to be at the top of their game and that is what I got. Communication with the Dealership / Quentin was on point and received not only quick responses but clear and knowledgeable ones. Even though I was purchasing the car in PA to take back to VA, that was not an obstacle at all! They were very flexible and willing to work with me when it came to actually purchasing my car being that I had to travel from VA and couldn't do so for a few days.
Without hesitation, I would recommend friends, family, and acquaintances looking to purchase a new or "new to them" car to reach out to Fred Beans Mazda of Abington to see what options they have as it was the best decision I made personally.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to your employee, Andrei, for his professional assistance in purchasing a car. Thanks to his attentive and responsible approach, the transaction went as smoothly and confidently as possible. Andrei demonstrated a high level of competence, friendliness, and a genuine willingness to help—qualities that are particularly valuable when choosing a car.

However, I feel it is necessary to mention a less pleasant experience I had during my first visit to your dealership. Despite the fact that I came with the intention of purchasing a vehicle, I had to leave the showroom after waiting for 45 minutes without any attention from the staff. I was especially surprised by the indifference of the manager, who made no effort to offer assistance to a potential customer.

Nevertheless, thanks to Andrei’s professionalism, my impression of your dealership was significantly improved, and the purchase was completed.

I kindly ask you to take this experience into account when working with customers. I hope that in the future, the service at your center will meet the high standards demonstrated by Andrei.

I’ve been going to John Kennedy Mazda in Conshohocken for the past 2.5yrs.  But they’ve just been getting ruder and ruder with every visit and acting very inconvenienced when I come in to spend hundreds/thousands keeping my beloved Mazda in good shape.

When I filled in my post-service surveys, I complimented the technicians/mechanics who did excellent work on my Mazda, but let them know how how their receptionist ignored me for several minutes when I came in despite my appointment and me being the only person in the lobby because they were on their cell phone.

The person who replied to my survey scolded me for not having more compassion for the receptionist and told me I don’t know what other people might be going through.  He also told me I shouldn’t have waited during my service since I let them know there weren’t enough seats for customers since people were having to stand and sit on the floor.

Finally, this time, I had to take my car in for a low pressure tire issue.  I called Kennedy Mazda to see if there was a wait list because the earliest appointment I could schedule online was over 3 weeks away.

The service advisor who answered said “we are just now getting to appointments that are already 2-3weeks behind.”  I asked if this was a safety issue so I could decide how urgent it might be, and he just snapped and told me go somewhere else.

So I went and found Fred Beans.   They had an appointment on Saturday just a few days away.  It turns out I did have a puncture in my tire.  My service advisor here, Mike, was professional and kind immediately from the first moment!

It has been such a significantly better experience than any I ever had at Kennedy!!  Mike was prompt, helpful, knowledgeable.  He never treated me like I was a bother.  The waiting area is clean, pleasant, and comfortable!  I’m going here from now on even though it’s 30min further away.  They are absolutely worth it!

We have a 2010 Mazda 3 and live a little far from the dealership, so we went to a local garage that sadly used parts that didn't match. Our car made banging sounds, which was scary to drive with. We went to FredBean Mazda of Abington and they immediately diagnosed the issue, and solved it within days. In the meantime they drove me home and then gave me a loaner. I also got video updates from the mechanic, explaining and showing the issue in a way I can understand. Now the car runs like new, I'm not exaggerating, I feel safe to drive again. I appreciate having such a courteous trusted mechanic that uses original parts and can maintain the car at its best performance.
