This is a gorgeous, antique Japanese hikite door pulls. This one in particular has enamel accents, which is very rare to see with these. Especially from this time period. This is from the edo period and date from around 1(contact info removed). This came from an antique store in San Francisco that was closing that specialize in Asian antiques. I have many other indoor pools that are from the same place all of which have different designs, sizes and levels of detail. Take a look at my other listings to see them and if you can’t find them, just let me know I can send you links to them. Very unique decorative piece or can actually be used in a home. Truly a work of art that is mostly only visible in museums. Hard to find them for sale privately.
