They are adjustable in height using a simple button that is attached to a chord that plugs into an outlet so you can sit or stand. Only have owned them for a year but they were setup in our travel trailer & only used 3 times, we don’t have space for them anymore. Vary between sitting and standing by the desk to keep your body moving. IDÅSEN underframe can be height-adjusted between 63–127 cm to suit your height – both when you sit and stand. *Table tops for this desk are sold at IKEA ranging from $50-200
