The hard shell Magma travel case is included in the price ($400 value). The instrument is barely used, top notch condition and ready for a new owner. This is a standalone 4 channel mixer plus 2 additional channels for singers or instruments. You don’t need a laptop connected to use all the channels in a performance. Export your tracks to a usb stick and you’re good to go. Without laptop the CDJ platters apply only to 2 channels, which is not a limitation - in a performance the last thing you’d want is to play two tracks while having access to just one of them (share the platter) - if you need more than 2 platters then expand your setup with a 3rd and 4th CDJ so you always have direct access to control the tracks at all times. If you connect a laptop though, you can share the built-in CDJ control platters for tracks/channels 1/3 and 2/4, but in my experience that’s no fun. My favorite feature about this all-in-one system is the integration with Ableton Live. You can assign every knob, fader and button to an Ableton function and get really creative. I imagine the same idea applies to any other DAW. I’m the original owner, never took this outdoors or let anyone else lay their hands on the knobs. You may as well call the equipment brand new and 100% less wear than any open box or display item at a Guitar Center. Breaks my heart to sell this, but it’s time for me to move on from this neglected hobby.
