Description

ROBERTO DURAN “MANOS DE PIEDRA” Red, white and blue, silk boxing trunks bearing his name, signed on the left thigh Boxing Trunks signed: "Roberto/Duran". Replica red, white and blue silk boxing trunks wit his name at the belt, signed on the left thigh in black felt tip. One of only four boxers to hold four different world titles (lightweight, 1(contact info removed); welterweight, 1980; junior middleweight, 1983; middleweight, 1(contact info removed)), Roberto Duran, born in Panama in 1951, began his career in 1967. Many remember him for quitting in the eighth round of his November 25, 1980 rematch with Sugar Ray Leonard (whom he had previously defeated), saying "no mas" ("no more"). This incident should not obscure Duran's greatness as a fighter. In 2002, The Ring magazine named him the fifth greatest boxer of the last 80 years. Duran finally retired in 2002, at age 50, with a 104-16 record and 69 KOs. Fine condition. Please take a look at the rest of our items in our page! Located off of I-10and Heubner.
