Fantasy Island Tattoo Signed Photo Herve Villechaize Autograph

Offered up is a B/W 8 x10 Signed by Fantasy Island Actor Herve Villechaize. He is most noted as the character of Tattoo on Fantasy Island in the late 1970’s and 80’s. His famous lines were …Da Plane…Da Plane… Seems like every child who grew up in those times would utter that saying in schoolyards. Villechaize signed the photo in character name only, Tattoo, and it is inscribed to Jeff & ??. I cannot make out the other persons name. He inscribed it “Love Tattoo”. Looks like it was written in black sharpie. Villechaize autographs I would think are not as common place as one would think as he passed away at the age of 50. Villechaize was despondent over longtime health problems. He in part was suffering from chronic pain due to having oversized internal organs which put increasing pressure on his body. According to his partner Villechaize often slept in a kneeling position so he could breathe more easily.
