Description
17k miles, Clean Title, Current Registration in my name. In excellent running condition. I’ve owned it for 3 years now and am selling as it rarely gets ridden anymore. Previous owner used it for commuting and dropped it before at standstill. Superficial minor marks, hardly visible maybe if you zoom in. Has nice Michelin Road 5 Tires. Brake pads, tires, and chain have a decent amount of life left. It’s due for a battery change, but that’s about all it needs. Overall, a really nice bike and super fun, enjoyable ride. If you're looking at Striples, then you probably already know it’s THE best all-around naked bike ever made and a phenomenal performance value. The 765cc triple is super refined, has buttery smooth throttle response, and reliable—it’s even the spec engine in Moto2 Racing. These Triumphs have amazing, precise handling. The 765 generation is sooo much better than any of the prior 675’s, it’s not even a comparison. I’ve kept it 100% stock because it’s awesome as is. Even the stock exhaust sounds great. With its upright comfortable handlebars and 414 pound fully fueled wet weight, it’s incredibly easy to ride for all riders whether you’re carving canyons or commuting. How this older model is better than newer ones: - 2018’s get a color TFT screen (downgraded to regular gauge cluster 2020+) - 2020+ make less hp and have noticeable “rev hang”, yes really.. - 2024+ lose a full 5hp at the back wheel on a dyno thanks to emissions. Look it up! - Also, R models have noticeably more power than an RS below 10.5k RPM (basically everywhere). You can really feel this, especially in the canyons. Journalists agree and say it hits the sweet spot. Ride them back to back and it’s obvious! ‘R’ Model Features: - Fully adjustable Showa Separate Function Forks - Fully Adjustable Showa Rear Shock - Brembo M4.32 Brake Calipers - 5-inch Color TFT Screen Dash - 4 Ride Modes: Rain, Road, Sport, & Rider - Switchable Traction Control - Switchable Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) - Slipper Clutch - Red Subframe Maintenance: - Valve Clearances checked by me (in spec) right after I bought the bike. - Regular oil changes. Changed by me at 12k, 14k, and 16k miles - Chain cleaned/lubed/adjusted regularly - Previous owner had Triumph dealer service for oil changes, coolant, and brake fluid. No sales tax, dealer fees, DMV backfees, or any other bs fees. Happy to work with your bank/credit unionfor financing. Willing to deliver within ~200 miles for a fee. No trades except for cash. These Triumph STR are way better than other bikes in its class: Yamaha MT-09 MT-09, the Suzuki GSXS1000, KTM Duke 890, Honda CB1000R, Kawasaki Z900, and even the Ducati Monster. Great for newer riders coming from an R3, MT-03, CBR300, MT-07, FZ-07, FZ07, MT07, RC390, Duke 390, Ninja 400, and many others
