Description
Vintage Lead Toy Figures – French Stretcher Soldier & American Dimestore Gentleman (c. 1935–1950s) Lot of two authentic vintage cast-lead toy figures from the mid-20th century: • French stretcher casualty, marked “FRANCE.” Believed to be by JRD or Clairet, produced between the late 1930s and early 1950s. Hand-painted with age-related patina and light paint loss. • Civilian man in suit and hat, in the Barclay/Manoil dimestore style, made in the U.S.A. around the same era. Original painted finish with play wear. Both pieces show honest age and display beautifully as part of a WWII-era lead figure collection. Condition: Fair vintage condition with typical paint wear and small surface chips. Sold together as shown for collectible/display purposes only (contains lead—not for children).
