Gorgeous antique Northwood carnival glass bowl with a classic six-ruffle crimp and shimmering marigold-on-green iridescence that flashes gold, violet and lime in the light. Authentic Northwood maker’s mark (underlined N in a circle) is molded in the center. Exterior features Northwood’s basketweave band and a rayed star / fine-cut star base—iconic early American pressed glass details. Maker: Northwood Glass Co. (marked with circled, underlined N) Date: c. 1910s Color/finish: Green base with iridescent/radium sheen (marigold on green) Shape/size: Small ruffled berry/nut bowl Pattern: Exterior basketweave with rayed star base Condition: Vintage excellent—no cracks; typical light utensil/surface wear and minor production straw lines from manufacture.
