Kenwood KA-601 integrated amplifier

Awesome Kenwood KA-601 integrated amplifier. This vintage gem is from 1979 and part of Kenwood’s KA series that was praised for its very clean/detailed sound signature and low distortion. The KA-601 offers a strong 60 watts/ch with a high damping factor allowing it to control a wide range of speakers very well with tight and punchy bass. It really is a powerhouse making it hard to believe it’s only 60 watts. The neutral sound signature makes it easy to integrate this into just about any setup with true to the source reproduction. Plays nice with warm to bright speakers and everything in between. Cosmetically in good overall condition for its age. The faceplate looks really nice minus small marks here and there. The top cover is fully intact and dent free with only small signs of age/wear. Overall a beautiful piece of vintage goodness. Inputs include tuner/aux and 2 phono. Bass and Treble controls with tone defeat. 2 step loudness control. Speakers A, B and A+B Has recently been serviced and included: -Checking all inputs - Cleaned all switches and pots - Checked and adjusted Bias and DC offset This unit is all original so it is being sold as is due to its age.
