Description

Attention Civil War Enthusiasts! Dated Thursday, July 2, 1863. This piece of history has been preserved between two pieces of glass. Both the newspaper print side and the wallpaper side are visible. The color of the paper is light brown. Please note the dark shadows and bright light reflections are due to the lighting conditions this piece was photographed in. The frame is in great condition. I suggest replacing hardware on the back and repositioning it to relieve the stress from the top of the frame. There are two holes in the newspaper. See photos for their locations. There are also creases and fold lines. The top left corner is also missing a bit of the border. Please read the bottom right hand corner of the paper. An explanation of the origin of this piece is clarified. Dimensions: H 20 1/2” x W 13”
