Headboard is in perfect condition, unfortunately my dog chewed the corner of the frame, but if you have a hanging bed spread, it won’t be visible. It does not affect the integrity of the bed; tragic as the blue velvet is beautiful. That said, included with the frame is support slats, and a 4in folding, metal box spring. Lastly a 8in Queen plush mattress. Mattress is about 7 years old, and has a paint stain from one of my arts and crafts projects that did t go so well, otherwise, what your getting is a super lux mattress that retailed for $2300. So, clumsiness, and a reckless puppy aside, this is a high quality purchase for a Salvation Army price. I am moving and have zero intention to take large furniture with me. Thank you,
