Description

Glidden Pottery was a unique art pottery company located in Alfred New York. Founded by Glidden Parker, it was in business from 1940 to 1957. This bowl dates to the early 50s. The piece is Turquoise w/brown speckles in color. It is approximately 9 1/2" long by 8" wide by 4" tall and backstamped "GLIDDEN 417" on the bottom. It is in very good to excellent condition and does not have any chips, cracks, or cracking of the glazing of any kind, which is often the case in pottery from this period. A great example of the Mid-century era, this Glidden pottery bowl is ready for your home or office. Please see all photos before your consideration to purchase.
