1979 Sunburst Greco Ace Frehley Budakan Les Paul Custom

Up for grabs is a beautifully aged 1979 Greco EGC-600 Les Paul Custom, expertly crafted in Japan and modeled after Ace Frehley’s iconic Budokan Les Paul. This guitar has seen some action and shows honest wear, but its vintage mojo and vibe are undeniable. Loaded with three locally sourced NY humbuckers, USA Bourns pots, Switchcraft components, and Gotoh hardware. The frets have been professionally leveled and crowned for smooth, easy playability. Electronics have been thoughtfully upgraded with custom wiring: • The middle pickup can be blended in with either the neck or bridge pickup, allowing all three pickups to be active at once—or even bridge and middle pickups to achieve Strat-like tones. • The master tone knob is a CTS push-pull pot that puts the neck pickup out of phase when used with the middle pickup, unlocking Brian May-style tones. Note: The guitar has had a cosmetic repair to one of the headstock wings, as shown in the photos. There are no neck breaks or structural issues — the neck and angle are solid and original. Also comes with a gig bag and KLIQ weight relief strap which makes 3-hour gigs with a 70s’ Les Paul much easier to play.
