Description

Vintage Elgin Mantle Clock Clock is in excellent overall condition with only a few minor scratches and blemishes. The clock keeps good time, but I haven't been able to get the chimes to function reliably. I expect a cleaning and oiling will enable the chime to chime as expected. The clock does have a lovely chime worthy of pausing to listen but it not chime consistently. The movement is stamped with: 80 (Year of Manufacture, I believe) Welby Division Elgin National Watch Co. Made in West Germany. 340-020
